Shinn Myat

Shinn Myat (Burmese: သျှင်းမြတ်) is a Burmese television actor and model. He was born as Shinn Thant Aung on June 16, 1998, in Yangon, and gained significant popularity through his roles in popular MRTV-4 television drama series. Shinn Myat attended Basic Education High School No. 1 Dagon and went on to graduate from Dagon University with an LLB (Bachelor of Laws) degree. He is the younger brother of well-known actress May Myint Mo. Shinn Myat began his journey in the entertainment industry in 2013. His initial exposure was highly notable, as he was selected as an "Academy Shwekyo," responsible for carrying the Academy Award statue tray during the Myanmar Academy Awards Ceremony that year. Following this, he transitioned into modeling before being cast in television dramas in 2017. Shinn Myat's acting career was launched through MRTV-4 drama series, where he often secured main roles early on. Shwe Kyar Phoo Thit (ရွှေကြာဖူးသစ်) (2018) marked his official acting debut in a main role, airing in February 2018. Yatha Mawkun Alinkar (ရသမော်ကွန်းအလင်္ကာ) (2018): He starred as the main character Mawkun. His performance in this series, which aired later that year, was well-received by fans, leading to a major surge in his popularity.
